  1. Simply roll your eye lenses clockwise and anticlockwise at least 10 times.
  2. Rub the palms against each other till they are warm. Now place them on the eyes for 5 seconds. Always ensure that your hands are clean and dry. This is something that can be done instantly and helps you to soothe your eyes in a gentle way.
  3. Massaging the forehead and the part below the eyes using the thumb knuckles in a circular motion several times may also help when tired.
  4. Hold a pen or pencil in front of the eyes at an arm’s length and slowly bring it towards you. Keep watching it until you see it clearly. Slowly move the pencil toward the bridge of your nose and keep it in focus for as long as you can, but stop once your vision gets blurry. After that, take it away slowly. Do this 10 to 15 times.
  5. Use a cold compress to relieve swelling and tension of the eyes. For this, wrap ice cubes in a clean cloth and keep them on closed eyes for 2 minutes.
